After its successful run last year, the Quezon City Film Development Commission (QCFDC) opens once again its QCinema Circle Competition for New Filmmakers and at the same time announces the launch of DoQC International Documentary Competition. If you think you have the guts and talent in directing, log on to QCinema Facebook page and download the application form. Submit your application, along with your proposed budget outline (in the format of pre-production, production and post-production) to the QCinema Secretariat on or before the deadline. Good news is, you will have the rights to your completed film output. Eight narrative feature films will be funded P1 million each as part of the QCinema's Circle Competition for New Filmmakers. Five full-length documentary films will be funded P200,000 each as part of the QCinema's DoQC International Documentary Competition. In addition, the films will be eligible to compete for the Pylon Awards with cash prizes at stake.
