The call for all artists to join Globe's ImaginART 2013 is still open. You or your group should work on an executable concept for an art exhibit focusing on the theme "ImaginART: A Journey Through A Wonderful World". Imagine, create, and inspire others with your masterpiece. With 2D and/or 3D artwork (painting, sculpture, mural, photography) and their presentation and manner of display, the exhibition must transport the viewers into a world of boundless possibility. Get your entries qualified and shortlisted into the top 3 for a chance to win P100,000 cash. These group will then be given the opportunity to prepare their exhibition concept and present it before a panel of judges. Only one (1) artwork will stand out and receive P500,000 cash plus another P500,000 Exhibition Grant.

Contest Requirements:
  • Open to all local citizens ages 24 to 39 years old
  • You may join as individual or group
Contest Mechanics:
  1. Log on to globe.com.ph and download the Application Kit for the Entry Form, Terms and Conditions, Theme, and Gallery Dimensions and Visualizations. Entry forms are also available at The Ayala Museum, Makati Avenue corner De La Rosa Street Greenbelt Complex, Makati City
  2. Theme: "ImaginART: A Journey Through A Wonderful World" - Design an executable concept for an exhibition that inspires the joy of exploration and discovery
  3. Entry Guidelines
    • Filled out entry form
    • A CD containing the ff:
      • Your portfolio of past works and CV
      • The concept brief of the entry (doc, docx, or PDF format)
      • Visual mock-ups of exhibition concept in universal multimedia formats (JPEG, PDF, PNG, TIFF, and video formats)
      • Complete list of material, technical, installation, and fabrication requirements. It should be listed according to primary (basic) and secondary (alternative) materials
      • Actual drawings or sketches for 2D works and scale models or maquettes for 3D works
  4. Place your entry and all the requirements inside an envelope and label it with your name/group name, contact numbers, and e-mail address. Mark the title as "GLOBE ART COMPETITION ENTRY" then submit it to Ayala Museum, Makati Avenue corner De La Rosa Street, Greenbelt Complex, Makati City
  5. Judging Criteria
    • 50% Creativity/Originality
    • 25% Relevance to theme
    • 25% Feasibility and Flexibility in Terms of Installation
  6. One or more people may work on one (1) entry 
  7. You can submit as many entries as you can but make sure that each entry 1 entry per envelope only
  8. There will be three (3) shortlisted entries who will move on to the next level in which they will be given the opportunity to prepare their exhibition concept and present it before a panel of judges
  9. The production/exhibition grant given to the winner shall be covered by an agreement between Globe and the artist

  • Announcement of top 3 finalists - July 11, 2013
  • Preparation of exhibition concept - July 11-18, 2013
  • Presentation to the panel of judges - July 19, 2013
  • Announcement of winner - July 21, 2013
