iBoP-Asia (Innovations at the Base of the Pyramid in Southeast Asia), through the Inclusive Mobility Challenge project, is looking for social innovations, particularly, groundbreaking projects that make it easier for the poor and the vulnerable to walk, bicycle, or commute in the 17 political units of Metro Manila. We all know that there are people who bear inconvenient public transportation, unsafe roads, the lack of sidewalks and bicycle lanes, and the absence of signs and maps. Alongside this persistence, they also suffer increased travel costs, the loss of dignity, physical injuries and deaths, etc., as they travel around the metro. iBoP-Asia longs to recognize those organizations/individuals that care, publicize their work, and help promote their ventures worldwide. Submit your entry for a chance to win P50,000, P40,000, or P30,000 plus an opportunity for you to scale up your Inclusive Mobility initiative.

Contest Requirements:
  • Open to all local citizens and Philippine-based organizations (charitable organizations, private companies, or government agencies, as well as formal or informal entities, e.g. an association, guild, student group, or village) that have ongoing and legal projects that promote Inclusive Mobility in Metro Manila
