Capture those enjoyable moments that make traveling memorable and enter it in Caltex Driving Moments photo contest. Whether it be a photo of happy people in action: jumping, dancing etc, captured during stops along the drive, a beautiful skyline, or the feeling of freedom as cool wind run past your face when you are driving with the windows down, as long as it is centered in the theme, "Driving Moments", it will definitely be a winning piece. The top 12 winners will each receive an Apple iPad 3 with Wi-Fi 32GB and USD500 StarCash plus have their photographs featured in the 2013 Caltex calendar and E-cards and, at Chevron's option, in other Chevron marketing materials and publications without limitation.



Contest Requirements:
  • Open to everyone in Asia Pacific & Africa, including all Chevron employees and contractors
Contest Mechanics:
  1. Download and fill out the entry form
  2. Theme: "Driving Moments". Capture an ultimate picture that makes traveling memorable and emphasizes those great happy moments
    • Examples:
      • Happy people in action: jumping, dancing etc, captured during stops along the drive
      • A beautiful skyline
      • The feeling of freedom as cool wind run past your face when you are driving with the windows down
  3. Entry Guidelines
    • Must be in colour
    • High resolution digital files with specs of at least 300 dpi
    • No smaller than 3500 x 2300 pixels
    • CMYK Tiff or JPEG format
    • Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the photographs are not allowed. Only simple enhancements such as sharpening or contrast adjustment are allowed
    • You can use either film or digital camera
    • Photographs that have been previously published are not eligible

  6. Submission Guidelines
    • For submission for storage media, entries should be properly labeled with the Photographer's Full Name and Short Photo Description
    • All submissions must be made via email or storage media, such as CD
    • Email submissions must be no larger than 6MB
    • Images are to be shot with the highest quality possible (TIFF or JPEG)
  7. Judging Criteria
    • Relevance, or closeness, to theme
    • Creativity and uniqueness
    • Quality of work and richness of colors
  8. You can submit a maximum of 5 photographs
